UNSEEN PRISONS

True freedom is in the mind, 

A soul that is free from trouble of any kind, 

A heart where Jesus reigns supreme,

I know this much because he set me free, 

True freedom is in love with your neighbour,

A smile that warms the heart and soul,

Every man's heart needs a saviour,

Every soul needs to be made whole.

True freedom is in the mind,

True freedom from the prison we cannot see, 

We can't fight for independence because we are blind, 

The prisoner is deceived to think the prison is a place of glee.

Truth reveals the chains that bind,

And in the darkness, a light shines kind,

True freedom from the darkness in your heart, 

True freedom in life, love and art.

True freedom is found in loving you, 

God loves you too and it's true, 

True freedom is found in believing this fact, 

Living your troubles at the feet of Jesus, 

Submitting, your whole, and your tender heart, 

True freedom is found when the world no longer controls you,

True happiness is true freedom, what is true happiness to you?
